Mac Mail Settings Sequence
1 - To access your e-mails in the Mac Mail application, you must first enter the information about your e-mail address into the system. For this process, we first click on the Preferences option from the Mail menu.
2 - Apple Mac Mail Accounts Option
From the upper tabs, click on the Accounts option, and from here, click on the plus (+) sign at the bottom left to add a new account.
3 - Apple Mac Mail Account Type Selection
As the Account Type, we write POP as any description of your e-mail account in the Account Description, your name you want to appear in the e-mail delivery in the Full Name section, and finally your e-mail address in the E-mail Address.
4 - Apple Mac Mail Incoming Mail Server
In the Incoming Mail Server step, you should write the mail.yoursite.com address as the server address, and your entire e-mail address in the username section.
5 - Apple Mac Mail Outgoing Mail Server
You should write mail.yoursite.com address as the outgoing mail server address, and your entire e-mail address in the username section. Also check the Use only this server box.
6 - Smtp authentication and Smtp port change
After checking the Use Authentication box, enter your e-mail address in the User Name section and your e-mail address password in the Password section.
You should write 587 as serverport and leave the ssl option unchecked.
