If you are going to transfer the domain name, web or mail services to Mailbox, you must first upload your web pages to the new area and open your mail accounts from your control panel.
When you change domain DNS redirects at your previous service provider, it may take 6-12 hours for the change to be updated on the Internet, although the process is synchronous.
Website transfer:
If you have not closed your website with your previous service provider, there is no interruption in accessing your website within the DNS update.
Mail accounts transfer:
In the DNS update, some of your mails will still be sent to your mail accounts at your previous service provider. For this reason, you should not close your mail accounts at your previous service provider immediately.
In order to minimize the loss, it is possible to receive the last mail in your mail client program without changing the POP3 / SMTP settings of your previous service provider until the DNS update is completed.
You will need to change the POP3 / SMTP settings in your mail client program according to the Mailbox Mail Hosting settings, as all your mails will start coming to your accounts in the Mailbox Hosting package after the DNS update is complete.
