Important Announcement for Insurance Agents: Corporate Email Address Obligation

Dear Insurance Agents,

We would like to convey important information to you. Based on the letter dated 10.10.2023 with reference number E97354901-010.06.02-2531579 from the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Institution (SEDDK), new regulations have been introduced regarding the registration of insurance data in the general database.

According to this regulation, all existing insurance agents are required to obtain corporate email addresses by March 29, 2024, and register these addresses with the Registry. In addition, in accordance with the schedule to be published by the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center (SBM), it is necessary for the sub-users in the SBM system to align their email addresses with the corporate extension.

During this process, it is important for you, our esteemed agents, to review the guide provided by SBM. From March 29, 2024, sub-user accounts in the SBM system whose email addresses do not comply with the Authorized User email address extension will be deactivated.

Therefore, we kindly request that you take the necessary steps to obtain a corporate email address and update your information in the SBM system.
